Clint Eastwood will play Mark Twain and direct a film about Mark Twain. The UK film website Moviehole.com broke the news on Saturday that the next project Clint Eastwood will direct will be called Remembering Mark Twain.

Alfred Ruddy, who has produced some of Clint Eastwood's most successful movies, said in November 2008 that Mr. Eastwood would soon be directing a biopic of Mark Twain. This intriguing bit of information has not yet been corroborated - but we can only hope!

Astonishingly, there has only been one other theatrically released Mark Twain biopic, and that was 1944's The Adventures of Mark Twain, starring Fredrich March.
